01Trading involves substantial risk
Trading futures, foreign exchange, equities and digital assets on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage available can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to trade you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience and risk appetite. You could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment, and in margined products you may lose more than your deposit.
02Hypothetical performance limitations
Backtested results are hypothetical and have inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent real trading and may under- or over-compensate for the impact of factors such as lack of liquidity. Simulated programmes are designed with the benefit of hindsight, and no representation is made that any account will achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
03Live results differ from backtests
Execution quality, latency, exchange outages, borrow availability, funding rates, slippage, commission changes and regime shifts all cause live results to diverge from simulation. We publish live tracking alongside every backtest precisely so the gap is visible rather than hidden.
04Drawdowns are expected, not exceptional
Every system published here has experienced, and will experience again, sustained losing periods. The published maximum drawdown is a historical observation, not a limit. Position sizing should assume a drawdown meaningfully deeper than anything yet recorded. Licensing one or two systems is not diversification: their bad stretch is your bad stretch, with little to offset it.
05Automation does not remove responsibility
An automated system executes without supervision. It is your responsibility to monitor deployed instances, verify broker connectivity, maintain adequate margin and intervene when market conditions fall outside the system's design envelope. Configure the daily loss limits and drawdown guards before going live.
